So when it comes to makeup I'm kind of snobby, sorry - I cant help it, I'm in the mind set you get what you pay for, I used to be a skincare specialist and its pretty much ingrained in me to look at the ingredients list. But I'd heard such amazing reviews about Sleek MakeUp that I had to pop into Superdrug and have a play! 20 minutes later I came out with this palette, an amazing MUA Eyebrow Kit thats identical to the HD Brows one, for £3.50!!! Also a free Rimmel Scandeleyes Nude eyeliner. So I think its safe to say I've been convinced, now no makeup is safe from me!
Anyway I was pretty pleased with myself and couldn't wait to get home. At first look, I was a little put off by the sponge applicator - it's my pet hate, I never have a never will like them, but that doesn't stop me loving ALL of the colours. The shadows are said to be inspired by classic Motown sound and the 60's style, they even have some really fun names like 'Otis Red' 'Aretha Orange' and 'Motown Mink'.
The browns and taupes are timeless classics which you can never have enough of and they are suited for everyone's colouring. Then the more spring/summer shades of pinks and coral, that are stunning. Perfect for that extra pop of colour when you feel the occasion is necessary, for me that nearly every other day :) My thoughts on the shadows in quality are that; they have great colour pay off, super easily blendable and have very little fall out, pretty perfect!
